Habaneras commercial premises ready for business to restart
Habaneras Shopping Centre puts the finishing touches to preparations for all its shops and businesses to restart their activity on 1 June, with a full package of safety and hygiene measures now in place.
Habaneras Shopping Centre, managed by MVGM, is guaranteeing safety and peace of mind for all its customers during their visit. The Centre is putting in place a comprehensive package of measures to ensure the regulations set out by the Ministry of Health for Phase 2 of the de- escalation plan, expected to come into force on 1 June in Torrevieja, in the Region of Valencia.
In this respect, the centre has developed a protocol of action to ensure both customers and staff stay healthy, and will be implementing a range of hygiene, cleaning and safety measures. Before reopening, the whole shopping centre will be deep cleaned and disinfected, a job that will be done by a specialist company by means of an air nebulising system that uses certified products and methods.
COVID FREE team
Alongside these measures, Habaneras Shopping Centre has also been giving employees safety and protection training, implementing a full protocol with measures to tackle the "new normal". One novel measure is the creation of the “COVID FREE team” consisting of specially trained staff who will be stationed at each of the centre's access points to welcome customers and answer any questions they may have. Plus, from that same day onwards, staff will also be answering customers' queries via the WhatsApp channel, on a helpline number called [H]elp!: 615.719.945 At the same time, the centre and its leaseholders will keep in touch constantly with regard to the measures adopted by all parties involved, with the aim of getting across the same feeling of confidence and safety to all their customers.
Limits on visitor numbers and routes
Following the instructions issued by the health authorities, during the next phases, Habaneras will guarantee that numbers will be kept to a maximum limit inside the shopping centre. To do this, a counting system is already up and running to control visitor numbers in real-time. The system uses automated alerts to activate the appropriate protocols when required to prevent more than the permitted number of people to be inside the centre at any one time.
Plus, to guarantee visitors enter and leave the centre in an orderly fashion, only main entrances 1 and 2 will be open, as well as the entrance from the car park. Each entrance to the shopping centre will be controlled by an organising system and, as mentioned earlier, with specialist staff in attendance to guide people over disinfecting mats before they go inside to start their visit. As they move round the shopping centre, visitors will be guided by signs and posters as well as vinyl stickers on the floor to remind them that they must observe the preventive measures, including respecting the required social distance and observing hygiene rules.
To make all this easier for people to follow, Habaneras is providing visitors with a number of automatic hydro-alcoholic hand gel dispensers throughout the shopping centre. The dispensers use a "no-touch" system to ensure people can keep their hands sanitised at all times. Alongside the dispensers, visitors will find special bins where they can throw away their used face masks and gloves, to guarantee a sterile atmosphere and keep the centre rubbish-free and environmentally friendly.
Lastly, children's areas and other shared spaces, including rest areas, will remain closed until further notice for safety and hygiene reasons. Other services, such as the baby feeding room, will be open but restricted to one family at a time. These rooms will be disinfected after each use for users' peace of mind. The centre lifts are for individual use only and priority will be given to people with reduced mobility. We advise visitors with no mobility problems to use the stairs.
As you can see, Habaneras is putting in place a meticulous plan to bring the entire shopping centre in line with the new health and safety standards, making sure that everyone can have a relaxed, safe experience during their time there.
