This pine forest, called "Lo Albentosa", is located in front of the cemetery of Torrelamata and has more than 15,000 trees, of which 5,000 are pine trees.
It has 30 tables with benches that the City Council has brought for people to eat, a playground with sand for children and another one with "eco games" for the elderly to exercise, toilets and water fountains.
This recreational area is a meeting point for the people of Torrevieja and tourists who want to enjoy nature in the Natural Park of Lagunas de La Mata and Torrevieja.
Traditionally, during the Easter festivities, this pine forest is used by the citizens of Torrevieja to camp.
